I'm Janet Wilder a/k/a "The Road Princess." My husband, Barry, and I are full-time RVers. We have been "on the road" since July, 1996. We live and travel in our '2000 Newmar Kountry Aire fifth wheel RV that we tow with a '2000 Freightliner FL60 RV Hauler, named "Valentine." Some women get candy or flowers on Valentine's Day. I got the truck. The trailer doesn't have an name other than "the house" or "home."

Alex, a mini Poodle, passed away at age 15 1/2. Scroll to the end of the menu to read his biography. Kellie, a toy-sixed mini Poodle runt who is 7 travels with us. Kellie has been in all US states but Hawaii and in all but 2 Canadian provinces.

I am a writer by avocation. Since 1995 I have been publishing "The Road Princess Gazette," a quarterly, subscription newsletter about our travels and our fulltiming lifestyle. I am a frequent contributor to "Escapees RV Club" magazine and "Country Disoveries" magazine and have been published in other RV and Travel related magazines.

In September, 2001, Escapees CARE,Inc. a facility in Livingston, TX that provides assistance with daily living for RVers who can't travel because of age or infirmity, published my 48 page booklet "Your Rolling Home -Housekeeping in an RV." I donated all of the proceeds of the booklet to CARE, a 501 (c)(3) charity. the book is almost sold out and will not be reprinted. It raised over ,400 for CARE.

Whenever I have a land-line telephone I like to contribute to the Usenet group rec.outdoors.rv-travel.

Updates
I am halfway there to completing the photo upload for our trip on the Lewis & Clark Trail. The web host needs to clear some cache files so I can't change the page title. LOOK FOR LEWIS AND CLARK UNDER ON THE MEXICO TRIP PAGES.
WHERE ARE WE NOW?
We are now in our winter spot in Rio Hondo, TX and will be back on the road in mid-April, 2005.

CONTACT THE PRINCESS
I will be happy to answer any questions about full-time RVing as well as provide information about my newsletter and my booklet.

SHARING
I hope that this site will be helpful to people who are interested in the full-timing RV lifestyle. As time goes on, hopefully, I'll get better at this and make the site more interesting. For now, I'd appreciate any feedback.
